Kevin Clark

Kevin Clark - WMS RCC ™
Managing Partner

For over 39 years, I’ve designed individualized portfolios for West Michigan clients and managed regional financial services firms.

I’m passionate about helping people understand economic and market conditions. For twenty-five years, I was a weekly contributor for Midwest Communications and their local radio station WHTC. The “Kevin Clark Business Minute” was heard locally and syndicated throughout the state of Michigan. In 2011, I wrote and published “The Great Economic Train Wreck: When America Went Off the Rails,” a chronicle of the 2008-2009 financial crisis.

As the managing partner of West Michigan Advisors, I’m excited to help clients take care of tomorrow so they can enjoy today.

I believe this is the greatest job in the world. Every day I feel blessed to help families set a course toward accomplishing their unique goals.

Our team’s diverse talent allows me to focus on the retirement goals of clients. My goal is to build a relationship of trust, communication and competence with each and every one of my clients.

My wife Laurey, and I have been married since June of 1990. We moved to Holland shortly after our first son was born. Since that time we have grown from a family of three to a family of eight, including children Zachary, Spencer, Juliette, Sophia, Schaeffer and Ruslan.

Simply stated, I help people manage the unmanageable.

I love walking alongside our clients as we navigate the unfamiliar waters of aging, retirement and wealth transfer.

My goal is to build a long lasting relationship of trust with each one of our clients.

I hold the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living designation, the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Designation as well as general securities licenses.

Personally, I married my high school sweetheart in 1997 and she still gives me butterflies. Together we have 3 kids and in our spare time, we actively volunteer in our church. Oh, and I coach football at Spring Lake High School!

My goal is to help reduce my clients’ stress when they face financial matters. Whether it is planning and building a financial legacy or securing that legacy for future generations, I walk the journey with you.

I know it seems like the world is growing more complex every day. That’s why I prioritize communication and education. I want you to feel confident as we navigate the next stages of life.

My team and I tailor our approach to provide investment solutions that are right for you. Wherever you’re coming from, we want to help you with a financial plan that will stand the test of time. I’d love to talk about your unique situation and help you discover a better future.

On the personal side, I graduated from Hope College and hold the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation. I currently serve as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors at the Holland Free Health Clinic. I am married and the father of two boys. We love being physically active and taking advantage of all that living in West Michigan has to offer.
